This 200x50mm brake shoe set is designed for trailers, caravans and horseboxes running the Knott braking system on an 8" brake drum. Sizing refers to the internal diameter of the drum (200mm) and the width of the shoe (50mm). Supplied as a complete axle set (both wheels) with all springs included, featuring auto-reverse sliding shoe carriers. This is an unbranded, aftermarket equivalent — not a genuine Knott part.

Fitting note: For continued safety, brakes should always be replaced as complete axle sets. Clean the hub and backplate before refitting, check brake cables/expanders aren't seized, and readjust the brakes once fitted. Always recommend brakes are fitted/checked by a competent person, and that shoes are replaced as full axle sets for even braking performance.
